Thomas Fellow

Stephan Bormann is considered to be one of the best German Jazz guitarists of his generation. He is not only a successful musician (he played among others in the Stephan Bormann Band together with Volker Schlott, in the Cristin Claas Acoustic Band or alongside Jazz stars such as Nils Landgren), but he is also a composer with the AMA publishing house. He runs a specialist course at the Dresden University of Music as well as workshops in various cities across Germany and in the United States.

Beyond doubt Thomas Fellows ranks among the most outstanding acoustic guitarists on the international scene. Having performed over 1000 concerts in London, Vienna, Zurich, Paris, Beijing, Shanghai and New York, to name but a few, appearances on the same programme as Luther Allison, Ray Charles and Al Jarreau, and CD sales running regulary into five figures, his duo FRIEND 'N FELLOW (Constanze Friend - vocals) is the most successful project of its kind in Europe. Thomas is professor for guitar/World Music at the Dresden University of Music and is the director of the improvisation/World Music programme at the School of Music Weimar. He is also a visiting lecturer in Austria, Italy and the United States.
